Ashley

Hey, can you talk a little louder? I don't think my heart's broken enough. But someday we'll all be old and I'll be so damn beautiful.

Name:

This blog has followed me for a long time... from the first day of CIS not knowing what to write about, to when I felt the urge to go to church and the blogs that followed, to now while I sit in Michigan. Hopefully you can take something worthwhile from it and enjoy it.

Forever

Forever is such a limiting word, I believe. People always get into new relationships or develop new attitudes or start to like a new type of music and it seems that it's an automatic response to affix the word "forever" onto their descriptions of it. "I will love you forever," "I will always believe this," "I will never stop liking alternative music." When does it end? Though the word forever, by definition, means "never-ending," all of these things will always cease to be. Eventually tastes will change, significant others will hurt you or views will change. Then what you thought would always be will stop. After a while, then, something else will come along that people believe will always be. So I end this little rant with a question: when does forever end??
